1. MOM TRIBE COMMUNITY PROGRAM
1.1. What is a Single Moms Community Program? A 10-week program designed to assist mothers on their journey to self-sufficiency. This specialized curriculum helps single moms develop essential skills in parenting, finance and spiritual growth.

1.2. How Does it Work?
The Single Moms Community Program is led by a team of church volunteers, who have a heart for helping, encouraging and uplifting God’s people. This team facilitates the 10-week program with additional support available from One More Child staff.

1.3. We Have Resources to Help:
Each church partner receives training and instruction from expert One More Child staff and is equipped with a curriculum guide to help facilitate discussion and engagement with participants.

1.4. How We Do It:
The Single Moms Community Program is led by the Church Body through a team of volunteers who have a heart for helping, encouraging and uplifting God’s people. This team, or “Mom Tribe” as we like to call it, facilitates the 10-week program with support from One More Child. Each team consists of volunteers who fulfill the following roles:

1.4.1. Program Coordinator: Leads the program, recruits the volunteer team and serves as lead program liaison for One More Child

1.4.2. Skills Facilitator: Leads group lessons & discussions throughout the 10-week program.

1.4.3. Mentor: Works one-on-one with program participants to provide support & encouragement throughout the 10-week course and beyond.

1.4.4. Special Events Coordinator: Plans, coordinates and implements special events during the 10-week program.

2. The Single Moms Community Program is designed to serve single mothers through the local church. One More Child partners with churches to equip them to lead a Christ-centered program that encourages spiritual growth, community, and connection to the body of Christ.

3. Key Points
3.1. Church-led model: The program operates with pastoral awareness and church leadership approval. One More Child provides training, curriculum, and support to the volunteers who lead the program at the church.

3.2. Women-focused design: The curriculum is written specifically for women and addresses topics unique to single motherhood. Classes and volunteer teams are women-only to create a safe, open environment.

3.3. Biblical alignment: This design is programmatic, participants can add to the Bible verses in the lessons to make more of a Biblical emphasis in each lesson. Either through sharing or sometimes through a devotional they select.

3.4. Children’s care: Childcare may be provided by the church if proper screening for each volunteer is in place. If not, children should remain with their mothers in the classroom.

3.5. Who it serves: Single mothers at various stages of faith, whether already connected to church or seeking community.

4. Next Step:  Church Members contact their Single MOM Friends, and all who are interested in this training:

4.1.   Sign up by sending a text to 9047058239 requesting to join our SPA [Single Parent Association], or email: rhmbc127@gmail.com.

4.2. A
conversation that includes church leadership [Pastor Horne] will take place in January 2026, so we can confirm alignment, answer questions, and discuss what our partnership could look like in your church context. We would love to walk alongside your church in serving single mothers in your community!
