Make a difference [O.T. verses:]

Exodus 8:21-25 NKJV
[21] Or else, if you will not let My people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies on you and your servants, on your people and into your houses. The houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground on which they stand.  [22] And in that day I will set apart the land of Goshen, in which My people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there, in order that you may know that I am the LORD in the midst of the land. [23] I will make a difference between My people and your people. Tomorrow this sign shall be."'" [24] And the LORD did so. Thick swarms of flies came into the house of Pharaoh, into his servants' houses, and into all the land of Egypt. The land was corrupted because of the swarms of flies. [25] Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, "Go, sacrifice to your God in the land."

Exodus 9:2-6 NKJV
[2] For if you refuse to let them go, and still hold them, [3] behold, the hand of the LORD will be on your cattle in the field, on the horses, on the donkeys, on the camels, on the oxen, and on the sheep-a very severe pestilence. [4] And the LORD will make a difference between the livestock of Israel and the livestock of Egypt. So nothing shall die of all that belongs to the children of Israel."'" [5] Then the LORD appointed a set time, saying, "Tomorrow the LORD will do this thing in the land." [6] So the LORD did this thing on the next day, and all the livestock of Egypt died; but of the livestock of the children of Israel, not one died.

Exodus 11:5-8 NKJV
[5] and all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sits on his throne, even to the firstborn of the female servant who is behind the handmill, and all the firstborn of the animals. [6] Then there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as was not like it before, nor shall be like it again. [7] But against none of the children of Israel shall a dog move its tongue, against man or beast, that you may know that the LORD does make a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.' [8] And all these your servants shall come down to me and bow down to me, saying, 'Get out, and all the people who follow you!' After that I will go out." Then he went out from Pharaoh in great anger.

Leviticus 11:45-47 AMPC
[45] For I am the Lord Who brought you up out of the land of Egypt to be your God; therefore you shall be holy, for I am holy. [46] This is the law of the beast, and of the bird, and of every living creature that moves in the waters, and creeps on the earth and multiplies in large numbers, To make a difference (a distinction) between the unclean and the clean, and between the animal that may be eaten and the animal that may not be eaten.

Making A Difference [N.T.]
Romans 14:21-23 YLT
[21] Right [it is] not to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor to [do anything] in which thy brother doth stumble, or is made to fall, or is weak. [22] Thou hast faith! to thyself have [it] before God; happy is he who is not judging himself in what he doth approve, [23] and he who is making a difference, if he may eat, hath been condemned, because [it is] not of faith; and all that [is] not of faith is sin.

Jude 1:20-24 KJVS
[20] But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, [21] Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. [22] And of some have compassion, making a difference: [23] And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. [24] Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
