1 Peter 3:7-10 KJV [7] Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered. [8] Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: [9] Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. [10] For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:
For over eight decades, the ministry of Rolling Hills Baptist has been active in the Jacksonville community proclaiming Jesus Christ and Him Crucified. Originally named McDuff Avenue Baptist Church and then Parkview Baptist, the name Rolling Hills Baptist Church was adopted when the church body built the church now located on 840 Permento Avenue on Jacksonville's Westside.
We desire to be a place that loves, reaches, and encourages our church, community, and city with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We do this through a commitment to Christ, understanding and communicating the truths of His Word, and putting those truths into action. [James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.]
Rolling Hills Baptist Church is an autonomous (or independent) baptist church that voluntarily participates with the Baptist Missionary Association of America. Part of the BMA of America is the Baptist Publishing House where they have books available in their Legacy Library to help you in your daily walk: Baptist Publishing House Legacy Library
