My road to Emmaus (or KAIROS) moment was in April, 2017 when I fell into the sheet-rock in my garage, just missing my door jam. In that fall, that moment, I cried out in my heart "help me Jesus! I blacked out; stillness. I remember: tingling from the tip of my toes to the top of my head, then tingling from the top of my head back down to my toes. I got up slowly, I had chipped tooth enamel, sheet-rock in hair, eyebrows, but no blood. I gradually moved to my knees, stood up, went inside, set at my table, and wrote down: stumbled; fell; lost conscienceness; tingled; shakened. I prayed, read my Bible, but I did not talk about it, until my Doctor's appointment the next week. He set up xrays, tests, bloodwork, then told me to go to the ER the following Monday. After a 10 day hospital visit, I did not have an infection, but my heart was seeing God working in matters and realized time was of the essence (1 Cor 7:29, John 1:18). I started taking online courses through Dallas Theological Seminary on how to study, and some Bible studies with Debbie Stuart, and Jen Wilkin through Lifeway. Every day, as long as I am alive, I must BE about My Father's business, as Jesus said in Luke 2:49. Colossians 3:2-3 KJV says Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.[3] For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. Persistent praying, Reading your Bible and journaling 10-min 2-3 times a day WILL change your life.]
I challenge you to make a difference. What is your mission? Why are you here?
