1 John 2:3-11 KJV
And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
[4] He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments,
is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
[5] But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected:
hereby know we that we are in him.
[6] He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as He walked.
[7] Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you,
but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning.
The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.
[8] Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you:
because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.
[9] He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.
[10] He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.
[11] But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness,
and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.

Genesis 22:2 KJV  And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.

1 John 1:5 KJV  This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

1 Corinthians 6:9-12 KJV  Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Philippians 2:12-16 KJV  Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed,

Deuteronomy 6:4-9 KJV  Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
[5] And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart,
and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
[6] And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
[7] And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children,
and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house,
and when thou walkest by the way,
and when thou liest down,
and when thou risest up.
[8] And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand,
and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.
[9] And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

Mark 12:29-34 KJV  And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is,
Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
[30] And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart,
and with all thy soul,
and with all thy mind,
and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
[31] And the second is like, namely this,
Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
There is none other commandment greater than these.
[32] And the scribe said unto him,
Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God;
and there is none other but he:
[33] And to love him with all the heart,
and with all the understanding,
and with all the soul,
and with all the strength,
and to love his neighbour as himself,
is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
[34] And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly,
He said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God.
And no man after that durst ask Him any question.

Acts 17:25-31 KJV  [25] Neither is worshipped with men's hands,
as though He needed any thing, seeing He giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;  
[26] And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth,
and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
[27] That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after Him, and find Him,
though He be not far from every one of us:
[28] For in him we live, and move, and have our being;
as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.  
[29] Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God,
we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold,
or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device. 
[30]  And the times of this ignorance God winked at;
but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
[31] Because He hath appointed a day,
in the which He will judge the world in righteousness
by that man whom He hath ordained;
whereof He hath given assurance unto all men,
in that He hath raised Him from the dead.
