Read Aloud Mentoring

How many times a day do you eat and drink?  Persistent prayer, reading your Bible, and journaling at least 10-20 minutes a couple of times a day (like before you eat food) WILL change your life.  Though I have a long way to go, daily  I am experiencing a purity of mind and thought, strength to make right choices and avoid wrong ones, wisdom for critical decisions, and the privilege of serving others in a way that I get to see lives radically changed. Everything I’m experiencing is because of Jesus Christ. All my joy is because I met Him, and I am so thankful!  He's changing me!   Acts 1:8 KJV But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth

What's your story? Have you experienced a violation, a confidence, a betrayal, or miracle in your life?  Has someone or some moment in your life inspired you to take a stand, to speak up, make a difference?  At our March 1985 Bible conference, Dr Calloway spoke on Samuel going to Jesse to anoint David. Dr Calloway's message was that "God re-parents us."  He will put someone in front of you who speaks ONE SENTENCE that will cause you to want what God wants for you, making you change, to repent, to turn from sin. 

Spiritual direction (or spiritual mentoring) is a centuries-old practice to help shape our lives and our service in Christlike patterns. It is modeled on Jesus, whose way of developing leaders was not classroom teaching, but life upon life … like a master craftsman tutoring a young apprentice:  On the road to Emmaus in Luke 24:27 KJV  And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, He expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

Reading ALOUD Mentoring builds confidence and vocabulary skills for life.  Reading Aloud also helps build comprehension skills.  Learn to tell your story of who Jesus is to you, and then you help a friend, neighbor, or loved one do the same.  Whether it is gathering one-on-one for a cup of coffee, and reading the WORD, or a small group at church.  Call or text 9047058239 or email: resolve4character1st@gmail.com
